Day 4... My awesome day with more sales & refining packaging

Hey everyone! I wanted to share my super fun and exciting day running my Rafistar handmade Ibiza Jewelry online store. I’m only 12 years old, but I’m already learning how important analytics are for my business.

Yesterday, we set a target to beat the number of unique users and viewer sessions from the day before. So, after a burst of activity sending messages to Raffi’s contact list, we saw more sales happening! It was amazing to see how our hard work paid off.

Now that we had more sales, we needed packaging for the jewelry. So, we went into town to check out what was available. Our shopping list included see-through net bags, magic sparkle dust, stickers, and card to make labels. We also needed some jiffy bags, ideally fancy ones, but it was unlikely we’d find those in the shops that were open on a Saturday afternoon.

We also set up an Instagram account for Rafistar Jewelry, but we needed to get it fired up. We kicked off with just 5 followers and closed the day with 30! It was so cool to see the support and well-wishes from everyone on chat.

The most exciting part of the day was when Dad pulled out an iMac in red! We worked on the site all day, added more products, marketed them, and had so much fun getting the packaging ready.

The day ended with two out of the three purchases being prepared for Monday dispatch. I can’t wait to see what happens next with my Rafistar jewelry store!
